An Update About Colleen

I’m not sure how many of you know that Colleen has been ill. This last November, she caught the flu or a cold and thought she could just hibernate and sleep it off. Unfortunately, her illness escalated, and she was eventually hospitalized. Right now, she is regaining her strength at Wesley rehab. I’m sure she would appreciate your prayers for a speedy recover. I miss her so much and I’m sure her blog followers miss her entertaining and insightful blog posts.

  2. I am sorry to hear Colleen has been so ill. She has made such an impact on my life with her books. As a young girl, I loved her books and her characters. Young men and women who stood for what was right no matter the circumstance helped instill a desire in me to do the same.

When I found her writing blog a couple years ago, I was delighted. Her encouraging words were sunshine to my soul. Much of her writing has uplifted me spiritually. At times I would reread her blog posts simply because of the encouragement to trust in God because He never fails.

Thank you, Colleen, for being faithful to God. It means a lot to know I can trust your books to be clean and God honoring. I love to read your books!

I hope you get back on your feet soon! I’m praying for you.

I am Colleen’s cousin and we grew up together in Darrington. Is it possible to get the address of her facility to send her a note. Janice Reece Tinto

  5. Hi Betty,
I posted an update on January 28 but have not heard anything since that date. She’s been in and out of the hospital. You can read all the post updates by starting at the bottom of this page and reading up. They are short (not full of details) but hopefully will give you some idea.
